Pimento Chile peppers

Description:The pimento name is a variation of the name pimiento. It is a small, heart-shaped sweet red pepper in the Capsicum annuum family. The flesh of the pimento is sweet, succulent and more aromatic than the red bell pepper. The Pimento pepper is one of the mildest in the Scoville index falling in the lowest range of the scale (100-500) units.
