Flavor King Pluots
Grower: Frog Hollow Orchards
Description: Frog hollow considers the Flavor King pluot to be the best variety they grow. It is a dark-skinned pluot with red flesh. It has an intense rich flavor combined with sweet, spicy tones that are reminiscent of the Santa Rosa. The Flavor King also has a nice acid bite and firm texture that softens beautifully as the fruit continues to ripen. It is amazing eaten out of hand but equally as good for baking applications.
